For the first time in the history of the Democrats, they have shown explicit support to their own. This time, they have proposed a whopping $3.5 trillion budget that will be used to initiate and complete President Joe Biden’s agenda for the next 4 years. “We have a lot lined up for us and were must ensure all that we have planned for works to success,” said President Biden. During his speech in the house on Wednesday, the president expressed optimism that all the good plans he has for the Democrats, Conservatives and all the American people will sail through if the Democrats in the Senate give him the needed support.
Top of the agenda of the president in the coming three or so years is expanding fair education for all American citizens who need it. Besides, the president is thinking loud to extend health care to all the citizens and the money that will service all his plans will come from the pockets of the rich individuals who for a long time have enjoyed the same pay cut as those who do not have. President Biden says a substantive amount of that money will be used to tackle some of the biggest challenges facing the world as of today such as the Covid-19 pandemic as well as global warming.
Although it is hard to say with certainty that the legislation will sail through, top members of the Democrats have vowed to see what they can do to ensure it passes. They argue that they are sure most people in country will like the approach, which they say will include some subtle details that will no double be agreeable to a majority of the citizens. While representing their colleagues, some of the Democrats who joined the president in a Washington luncheon said the far-reaching and subtle details would impress many Americans. These details include a prekindergarten for children aged 3 to 4 years that will cut across all states, free community college for two years for all, lower drug prices and a reduction on the price of clean and sustainable energy and related utilities.
In addition, there are plans to expand medicare benefits as well as the extension of green cards, which will in turn benefit many citizens including immigrants that have not been documented. Although a few Democrats attended the meeting that was held at Capitol Building, the president urged all present to embrace his plan and give it their full support.
